Overview

Welcome! This guide walks you through the complete technical setup of fraud0 on your website — from the initial decision how to embed the script, through implementation, to verification and your first ad system connection.

If you already have a Tag Manager and an experienced web team, you can complete the core setup in 15–30 minutes. If you need an IT release for code changes, plan one to two weeks end to end.



Pre-flight

  • Copy your cid from the fraud0 dashboard
  • Classify your CMP and GTM setup (Q1–Q4)
  • Update your CSP allow-list with api.fraud0.com if needed

Main Tag

  • Choose your embed path — A (SGTM), B (Direct), or C (GTM)
  • Place the snippet with your correct cid
  • Set tag firing priority to 1000 (GTM only)
  • Set trigger to All Pages
  • Publish or release

Conversion Tag

  • Identify your confirmation pages
  • Define your conversion types (lead / purchase / custom)
  • Place the snippet on confirmation pages only
  • Publish or release

Verify

  • DevTools Network shows fz.js + pixel — both status 200
  • window.dataLayer contains a fraud0 event
  • Dashboard health check is green

Connect

  • GTM variable and trigger set for f0_bot_traffic == "yes"
  • At least one ad system connected
  • Pixel Protect configured (optional)
