IP Blocking
The IP Blocking settings let you define two lists of IP addresses that override fraud0’s automatic bot detection for a specific tag. Use these lists when you know in advance that certain IPs should always be treated as bots or always be treated as legitimate traffic.
How to access IP Blocking
Section titled “How to access IP Blocking”- Open the Management area in the fraud0 interface.
- Select the tag you want to configure.
- Click the IP Blocking tab.
Always block these IPs
Section titled “Always block these IPs”IPs added to this list will always be classified as bot traffic with the highest priority possible, regardless of any other signals. This is useful for known malicious sources or IPs you never want to count as valid traffic.
Enter one IP address or CIDR range per line, then click Save.
Trusted IPs
Section titled “Trusted IPs”IPs added to this list are excluded from bot analytics and will never be blocked by fraud0’s detection algorithm. Use this for your own office networks, testing environments, or any IP addresses you know to be legitimate.
Enter one IP address or CIDR range per line, then click Save.
Supported formats
Section titled “Supported formats”Both lists accept individual IPv4 addresses and CIDR ranges:
| Format | Example | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Single IP | 203.0.113.42 | Blocks or trusts one specific address |
| CIDR range | 192.168.1.0/24 | Blocks or trusts an entire subnet (256 addresses in this example) |
